Snow

Yes, the weather dudes were correct, it snowed this weekend. We woke up on Saturday to a white and beautifully frozen outdoors. We had the requisite fire blazing all day yesterday. Though the majority has been melting away today, some of that water will freeze on the roads overnight. Hence our two-hour delay tomorrow! Anyhow, before I knew it would really, truly snow, my "to do" list for the weekend included:

1. Put away remaining clean dishes in kitchen and organize our "pantry."
2. Complete stacking of unpacked books on bookshelves.
3. Clean back guest room and prep for painting next weekend.
4. Sort out remaining items in garage into "house" or "garage sale" piles.

What I really did this weekend was:

1. Lay around in my pjs (we did both upgrade to sweats around 3:00).
2. Read my book.
3. Play the Wii with Jonathan.
4. Some minimal kitchen cleaning. And lay around.

Ah, well, there's always next weekend.
